Meet Yolanda Baker
Yolanda knows what it’s like to feel out of sync with your career — because she lived it. From finance to nonprofit leadership to recruitment and staff development, each move was driven by reaction rather than alignment. The gap between who she was and who she envisioned herself to be kept widening. Alignment wasn’t just lacking; it was absent.
A 2011 mission trip to Kisumu, Kenya, changed that. Standing on the shore of Lake Victoria, she was transfixed by how the sky’s bold colors stretched and reflected across the water’s vastness—the horizon seemed endless. In that moment, she understood she was only bound by the limits she had set.
That realization is Dunvora.
Today, Yolanda draws on more than two decades of professional experience, including 15+ years across career development, education, training, workforce readiness, program design, and community-based initiatives. As an NCDA Authorized FCD Instructor, she combines professional expertise with a lived understanding of what it takes to move from uncertainty toward meaningful direction.
