Meet Our Founder
Yolanda knows what it’s like to feel out of sync with your career — because she lived it. She pivoted from finance management to nonprofit leadership, to recruitment, and back again, each move fueled by need and opportunity rather than purpose and fit. The gap between who she was and who she wanted to be kept widening. Clarity wasn’t just lacking; it was absent.
A 2011 mission trip to Kisumu, Kenya, changed that. Standing on the shore of Lake Victoria at the Dunga Restaurant, she was transfixed by how the sky’s symphony of colors reflected in the water’s vastness, making the horizon seem limitless. In that moment, she understood: the only limits were the ones she had set.
That sunset became an image of her own untapped potential — as she envisioned a future where her skills, talents, and experiences transformed into purpose she could achieve. It also became the company’s name: Dun for Dunga, the place where the insight arrived, and Vora for the water and light that represented faith, promise, and transformation.
Today, Yolanda brings more than two decades as a coach and consultant, along with NCDA Facilitating Career Development (FCD) instructor credentials, to professionals, students, and organizations ready to realign with their purpose and fit.
Dunvora exists to be that moment of clarity — where purpose meets potential, and you move forward on your own terms.
